A hike between forest and ponds

This walk from the Igl’houx or Relais du Gland will take you through the forest and ponds, namely the pond of la Vieille Forge and the pond of La Motte, both located in Signy-Le-Petit. However, the starting point is set in Brognon (it is possible to start this walk from the parking lot facing the beach of Lake La Motte).
Very accessible (on foot or by bike) and relatively short (4 kilometers), you will be captivated by the beauty of the landscapes, its hilly aspect, its river ‘Le Gland’ which spans tree roots and large schist rocks.
During the autumn and winter period, the paths can be very wet or even submerged, so plan appropriate footwear (hiking boots, rubber boots) and clothing (windbreaker, umbrella).
Another slightly longer walk (8.60 km), which I named “Hike by Saint Antoine Chapel“, offers different landscapes and river crossings, as well as an immersion in the village, including Saint Antoine Chapel.
