The Igl’houx, a “tiny house” style cabin made of wood and insulated from both cold and heat, is located in the heart of the Ardennes forest and integrated into the Regional Natural Park of the Ardennes, recognized as a region rich in biodiversity, with remarkable fauna and flora. The forest provides genuine freshness during the hot summer months, and it’s in this pleasant setting that walks are appreciated.

Numerous hikes from the Igl’houx or in the surrounding area allow visitors to explore the surroundings and admire both the natural heritage (forests, pond circuits) and the historical heritage (circuits on the Maginot Line, fortified churches, etc.).

Animations all summer

If you enjoy activities or are more into festivities, events are organized throughout the high season in the Ardennes Thiérache region: local producer markets, flea markets, escape games, dance evenings, etc.

The Étang de la Motte, located just 2 kilometers away on foot through the forest, has a supervised beach in July/August with events regularly organized, notably by the Ardennes Thiérache community of municipalities and nearby municipalities/associations.
